Google Announces Free Mobile Navigation Service

Google announced its free navigation service for mobile phones. While its only in trial on the new Motorola it is too slick to pass by. It includes turn-by-turn directions, live traffic updates and the ability to recognize voice commands. Soon this service will be ad supported. I guess the only advantage for the gps devices like Garmin and TomTom is the fact that the data is delivered faster by them as one doens't have to wait for the wireless network to deliver the content. We will wait to see where Google's rival, Nokia stands.
